Ex. Pickfords Scammell Constructor VXD 533. Photographed at Donnngton park during the 2006 classic commercial motor show. Heavy haulage |
|
|
|---|
| My father drove this constructor from new out of Stratford depot. I remember when he came home with it for the first time, half the kids in the road came around to see it, and climb on the trailer he had with it. This constructor was usualy mated with girder trailer 790. I myself have spent very many hours sat in the cab crawling along the road. or following in our car until they reached some layby and parked up for the night. |

|
|---|
| I truly like the old pic of the Foden S80, do you have any other shots taken in the 70s or 80s ?
If so, please get in touch as I have a number of pics taken in and around Buxton in the 70s. Perhaps we could swap a few ? |
|
|
|---|
| Hi,
I also love this great picture. I would be interested to know what other photographs you. My father drove for Turner Brothers based in Earl Strendale and I am desperately trying to get some pictures of their trucks.
I would be willing tp pay a good price. Is there this Longcliffe photo could be copied? My brother drives for them at present.
Kindest Regards,
David Smith |

I think that these fire enngine photographs look really good and I would really like to buy them to add to my collection.
I have been trying to buy them and I have been having problems with the internet. Should I save them in to my document and then go to fotopic.net and buy them off them off there? I thought that I would ask first because of copyright.
I hope to hear from you soon.

| I KNOW THIS IS A LONG SHOT BUT I'M TRYING TO TRACE SO PICTURES OF WAGONS FROM BOTH 'J W DUNN LTD, DERBYSHIRE' AND 'VIA GELLIA TRANSPORT DERBYSHIRE'. IN PARTICULAR THERE ARE TWO WAGONS THAT I WOULD LIKE A PICTURE OF, THESE ARE :- 'M118 RVO' AND R172 RRA' THESE ARE BOTH DAF 85 BULK TIPPERS IN J W DUNN LIVERY! WOULD YOU HAPPEN TOO HAVE ANY PICTURES OF THESE WAGONS IF SO I WOULD BE VERY GRATE FULL IF NOT DO YOU KNOW OF SOMEBODY WHO TAKES WAGON PICTURES IN DERBYSHIRE THAT MIGHT HELP ME?
THE TWO LORRY'S MENTIONED ABOVE ARE THE TWO I USED TO DRIVE WHEN VIA GELLIA TRANSPORT HAD TAKEN OVER J W DUNN BUT PART OF THE CONTRACT SAID THAT THE LORRY'S HAD TO STAY IN J W DUNN'S COLOURS UNTIL SOLD! I DROVE R172 UNTIL VIA GELLIA TRANSPORT WENT BUST IN MID 2006!
